Invasive : In Invasive the cells break from inside the Lobules or Ducts and spread to tissues. This Spread will reach Lymph nodes and make their way to reach other organs.(Metastasis) ie., forming Secondary’s. Spreading to Lungs , Liver and Bones. Some times this will travel through the Blood or Lymphatic system to other parts of the body also even in the early stages.
Non Invasive : This will be in its same position inside and does not break out. If it is in “Lobular non-invasive” that means it is still inside and not broken out from the Lobules while Ductal – non-invasive means it is still inside the Milk Duct. These are called “Pre- cancerous” which means even though cancerous cells are there it has not spread from its position.
